About the Role
This role provides shift-level nursing leadership at a comprehensive medical center known for its programs in cancer care, cardiology, neurosciences, orthopedics, women's services, emergency and trauma care, pediatrics, and neonatal intensive care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide charge-level leadership and coordination during assigned shifts.
- Support perianesthesia nursing care and unit workflow.
- Mentor and guide staff nurses on the floor.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- California RN license required upon hire.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required upon hire.
- NIH Stroke Scale certificate required within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience with demonstrated leadership ability.
- At least 2 years of recent perianesthesia RN experience preferred.
Work Schedule
Full-time, 8-hour day shifts.
