About the Role
This role handles medical malpractice litigation from case strategy through trial and arbitration, working closely with claims specialists and defense teams to represent physician clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate discovery and investigation strategy in coordination with the trial team.
- Prepare pleadings, discovery responses, and motions.
- Attend court appearances and prepare cases for trial or arbitration.
- Prepare status reports to the Claims Department at each stage of litigation.
- Represent physician clients at depositions in deposition-only cases.
Qualifications
- J.D. degree required.
- 3 years of medical malpractice litigation experience.
- Active license to practice law in California.
