About the Role
This role designs and simulates power electronics circuits for a range of applications, from low-power point-of-load supplies to high-power resonant converters for wireless power transfer systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Own circuit-level design, simulation, and troubleshooting for power supply and converter applications.
- Direct a small team on power electronics projects.
- Apply customer specifications to power electronics system requirements.
- Perform thermal design and magnetics evaluation, including transformers and inductors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree.
- 3 years of power electronics design experience.
- Familiarity with power converter circuit topologies and control loop theory.
- Experience with circuit simulation tools such as PSIM or MATLAB.
- Magnetic circuit simulation experience (ANSYS Maxwell or similar) a plus.
