About the Role
This role owns key mechanical system components across the full product lifecycle, from requirements and concept generation through design, prototyping, and testing, working hands-on in a lab environment within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead 3D modeling and hardware design and development for critical mechanical components.
- Generate technical data package components, including part and assembly drawings.
- Prototype, integrate, and test component parts and assemblies.
- Develop test plans and procedures for mechanical subsystems.
- Brief internal and external stakeholders, including customer representatives, on progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 6 years of relevant experience.
- Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance required (active within the last two years considered).
- Experience with CAD tools.
Work Schedule
9/80 schedule: 80 hours worked over 9 days out of every 14, with every other Friday off.
